Later. I meant the EE scene where the Rohirrim have paused to wait for the scouts and Merry talks to Eowyn about his friends, and how he doesn't know what a hobbit can do, but whatever it is, he'll try. Can't remember what they call it. Maybe something like 'Merry's simple courage'

I just have the concern that everyone will just go for their favourite like in the Finwe Game and not vote other characters up

I just find balanced games more interesting

But they're all balanced, aren't they? All the entries start with the same number of points and we all play the same - and +. And as it goes on, some pull forward and some drop back, and gradually people pick favourites - if we didn't, it'd go on for ever!

Sticking with Tolkien, maybe favourite book scenes (we did film scenes). Could do one book at a time, that would spread it out

Or maybe characters from the different ages. Or the different races - have a dwarf game, a men game and so on

Beyond Tolkien we could move into history, narrowing it down by periods or places

Or do groups of people like scientists, musicians, writers, whatever

Or other books (not Tolkien)

How about a Suggestion elimination game and we play them in order of number of votes.
